Introduction
A cover is a job, not a colour. Film over a polyhouse, net over a shade house, net against insects, net under a crop, film on a bed, and sheet in a pond are six different purchases. A polyhouse sheet manufacturer enquiry is the right start when you need the film or the net named properly, and when you are willing to keep fixing hardware on its own list. Sheets and nets do different work. A sheet is a film: it covers a house, a bed or a pond. A net is an open fabric: it shades, excludes insects, or supports a plant. Roof and wall film
Use Poly House Covering Sheet when the cladding is film. Send the structure name if the house is a known package, or photos of the bays if it is already standing. Say whether you are covering a new frame or replacing film on an old one. Replacement film has to work with the profiles and grippers already installed. Those parts are specified on the fixing category, and they should be a labelled line if you need them, not a hope that the sheet will include them.
Do not transfer a film description from a tunnel package onto this sheet as if every polyhouse used it. Ask what the covering-sheet record itself says, and what your bays require. Area and crop explain the scale. They do not choose a width. If a fabricator has already set a bay size, send that size as the fabricator's figure and keep it separate from anything the catalogue states.
Shade and insect exclusion
Sun Protection Shading Net is the name for sun. Say the crop and the location, and say whether the net is the roof of a shade house or an extra layer under a film roof. Those are different fixing jobs. This page will not answer with a shade percentage. If you have a percentage from an agronomist, send it as the agronomist's note and ask which catalogue net, if any, is the one to discuss. Do not expect the note to rewrite the product.
Insect Net and Insect Protection Net should be requested by the name you were shown, with the crop and the pest pressure described in plain words, not as a mesh code you composed. Sidewalls, vents and doors are typical positions. A roof sheet does not do their job, and a shade net is not automatically an insect net. If you need both shade and insects excluded, ask for two lines. Plant Support Net stays off this pair unless the crop also needs a support fabric. Support is a third job.
Mulch on the bed
Mulching Film and Mulch Film sit on the soil or the bed, not on the structure. Send the crop, the bed layout and whether you are matching a film you already use. Because both names are in the catalogue, copy the one on the record you intend to buy. Do not assume the two words are a single product with two labels until the quotation says which record is being offered.
Bed film is often ordered with drip, because the tape or the lateral has to meet the planting hole. Drip is a different category. Mention it so the lines can be coordinated, and do not hide the film inside the drip bill. A width you measured from last season's roll can be sent as a measurement. A width you would like is a wish, and it should be marked as a wish.
Pond lining
Pond Lining Sheet is the name for a water body, a farm pond or a lining job that has to hold water. It is not ordered as a cheap remainder of roof film. Send the purpose, the approximate area and how the edges will be anchored. Anchoring method changes the sheet conversation. This page does not state a thickness. Ask for the product record, and send photos of an existing lining if you are repairing one.
Keep pond lines off the polyhouse bill even when the same farm has both. A mixed quotation can still be one message. The labels cannot be one label. A crew that receives roof film for a pond, or lining for a roof, has been given the wrong job. The category can supply both. The enquiry has to say which bay is which.
How to choose
Name the job before the product
Write one of these jobs in the first line: roof film, shade, insect exclusion, plant support, bed mulch, or pond lining. Then attach the catalogue name if you know it. A polyhouse sheet manufacturer reply can confirm or correct the name. It cannot confirm a name you never separated from the word material. Buyers who send material for two acres get a question. Buyers who send roof film for a named house get a quotation path.

Grippers, zigzag springs, profiles, clips and the other fixing parts live on the fixing category. Add them when the cover is new or when the old locking pieces are tired. A sheet that arrives without a way to hold it is a rolled inventory, not a covered house. Say if the existing profiles will be reused. Reuse is allowed. It should be a sentence on the enquiry, because it changes whether profiles are supplied.

Do not ask the sheet line to include fixing as a courtesy. Courtesy lines are unordered. Name the fixing page's parts you need, with photos of the profile if the house exists. New houses should take the fixing list from the structure bill, still as its own group, so the cover and the lock are both visible.
Specifications and buyer checklist
Start with the job and the catalogue name. Add location, area and crop. Add a photo if anything is already on site. Omit GSM, shade percentage and roll width unless you are attaching a product record or a measurement you took.

Frequently asked questions
Why are sheet and net not one product?
A sheet blocks weather and holds a different edge in a profile. A net shades, excludes or supports, and it is fixed differently. Poly House Covering Sheet and Sun Protection Shading Net can appear on the same farm and still must not be ordered as cover material. Insect Net and Insect Protection Net are net names. Plant Support Net is a support name. The verbs are the specification.
If a tender has one line called sheet/net, split it before you submit the file. A single rate for two jobs hides which one will be delivered. Ask the quotation to refuse the combined line.
Can you state a shade percentage or a GSM?
Not on this page. Shade percentage, GSM and roll width are omitted so they are not invented. If the product record you are being offered states them, they can be quoted from that record. If a tender box is mandatory and the record is silent, the honest entry is that the figure is not stated, followed by a question.
An agronomist's recommended percentage can travel in the enquiry as advice. It does not become a factory figure by being typed into the form. Ask which named net is available to discuss against that advice.
What is the difference between the two insect-net names?
Both Insect Net and Insect Protection Net are catalogue names. This page does not invent a mesh, a colour or a width to separate them. Open the two records, or ask the quotation to say which record is offered and what that record actually states. Until that sentence exists, treat them as two names to be checked, not as one name with a spare adjective.
The crop and the place the net will hang — vent, sidewall, door — matter more than a guessed mesh. Send those. A support net is not the fallback if the insect name is unclear. Ask, rather than substituting Plant Support Net.
Are mulch and pond liner part of a polyhouse order?
They can be on the same purchase and they are not part of the roof. Mulching Film or Mulch Film follows the bed. Pond Lining Sheet follows the water body. Put them on their own lines with their own areas. A polyhouse roof that needs Poly House Covering Sheet stays on the house line.
Dealers who stock more than one of these should label the bales with the catalogue name. A bale marked film is how a pond sheet is sold as mulch. The names are long enough to fit on a label, and they are the names the next order should repeat.
Do I buy grippers with the sheet?
Buy them when you need them, from the fixing category, as their own lines. A new house usually needs them. A replacement sheet sometimes reuses sound profiles and springs, and sometimes does not. Say which. Photos of the profile decide it faster than a description of the old plastic.
The sheet category will not pretend to be the fixing category. If your message asks for both, keep the headings. The crew should be able to see that the film and the lock were both ordered, and in what quantity.
